I've loved to paint, draw, design and create since I was a child. It's an addictive feeling to have something take shape. I've always enjoyed that I can completely lose myself in my work for hours.
I mainly use acrylics. I love the way that it moves and its consistency and texture. it is such a versatile medium that allows me to paint on a variety of surfaces. I also really enjoy digital design and creating designs that look great on an array of items for the home and on apparel
I like to go out into nature and find things that inspire me to paint and design. Whether it's at the beach or out in the countryside, attempting to duplicate Mother Nature in my work is a great feeling.
I paint whatever piques my interest, but I also enjoy doing commissioned work, so if you have something in mind that you would like painted then please feel free to get in touch. Some of my designs on my website are for greeting cards. My artwork is also available for licensing

The snippet of the painting above is one I'm currently working on. It's acrylic on wood (or rather pressed wood) it started life as one of those boards that you buy at somewhere like Hobby Lobby that has an inspirational message. I like to find items that I can recycle/upcycle, it's good for the planet and good for my wallet. I gave it a wash, sandpapered it a tad and then used a wall paint with stain blocker. I thought it was good, yet during the time I was painting on my design in certain lights I could seeing the writing underneath. It was relentless. I ended up putting on three times the amount of acrylic paint I'd normally have used. So much for my thriftiness! Ahh Well! I've enjoyed painting it. I just have to add a few details here and there then give it a seal and it'll be done.
